Delve Deeper
Books: Life, as it so often does, leaves too little time to indulge my literary favorites. The Greek, Roman and classic literature have always held a special place in my heart. Homer, Ovid, Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, Chaucer. Modern literature has captivated me just as much as my beloved classics, but it would take a novel of my own to scratch the surface.

Music: My taste in music widely varies with my mood. There is simply far too much variety out there to commit to a single genre, though country is not a genre I delve into. Much like my choice in literature, it would take a novel and then some to touch every corner of musical preferences.
​
Dining: I am a sucker for authentic Mexican food (Los Comales being a favorite). Carnitas tacos, steak burritos, my mouth is watering at the thought of it. Chipotle, of course, makes a regular appearance in my restaurant rotation. I believe steak is best served rare, even if it still has a little 'moo' left in it. Buffalo wings and beer are a lazy night favorite. I am certainly open to sampling new dishes and restaurants, but I'll admit once I find a favorite it will become my go to meal of choice and I am reluctant to let it go.

Beverages: Cold brew coffee, whiskey, tequila, and most of all craft beer (general preference for Amber, Belgian, and Wheat).
​
Hobbies: Brewery tours and various beer tastings/festivals are the adult version of a candy store to me. Horses, the little girl in me simply cannot resist. The gym has my heart and leg day is my love. As much as I love adventures out, I am just as happy to spend the night in soft sea of pillows and blankets binge watching my favorite shows and movies. In my younger years art consumed my life, hands always covered in charcoal, paint or chalk, but I have lost hold of my muse in the bustle of adult life. Care to help me rediscover it?

Travel: At a young age I had the pleasure of taking a cruise to the Bahamas, a trip I will never forget. Unfortunately in my adult years I haven't had the opportunity to tour the world, though my bucket list is endless. Given the chance, I wouldn't know where to start. Perhaps your suggestion will lead me on a new adventure.
